An Open and Fun Workplace
When I talk about Prevas, I often describe it as an open and fun workplace with room for everyone’s ideas. Even if I’m not always actively thinking about our values, all four of them are clearly present in our everyday work across the organisation.
My journey into the world of technology
I studied at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, in the Master of Science in Engineering program with a focus on automation and mechatronics. During my studies, I discovered a passion for signal processing – an area I found truly exciting. I went on to take the master’s program in Communication Engineering and did my thesis at TriTech, where I was later offered a position. TriTech eventually became part of Prevas.
Today, I work with programming and radar systems in a broad role focused on positioning and communication. There’s something magical about transmitting data and turning it into something meaningful. In my role, I get a full-picture perspective – acting as the hub that connects all the parts into a product people can actually use.
Life outside the office
When I describe Prevas to others, I talk about openness and joy. We live our values every day – often without even thinking about it.
We do a lot together – from sports activities through our Sports Academy to tech-inspired afterworks and Learning Lunches where we share and get inspired by each other’s projects. We also host sustainability events where we explore how we can contribute to a better world in everyday life.
Prevas is truly committed to sustainability – for example by increasing the wellness allowance and actively promoting gender equality, like when our CEO gave an inspiring talk on International Women’s Day. That makes me proud.
One thing I do every day:
Drink coffee and work on my personal projects.
